Since 95% of them are immature nerds that grew up with SNES vs Genesis fanboy nonsense, so they just continued their tradition in picking sides and being excited about anything that is coming to their console of choice and ignoring and having no interesting in content on other systems.

On subject, Sony should try to acquire IP, it is nice niche title for whom many would buy PS3 if they don't have one already.
I love Shenmue games BTW, those were my favorites for so many years. Actually when people say GTA was revolutionary with it's open world, they tend to forget Shenmue....maybe it didn't have that same detail and scope, but ambition was there it set blueprint AND Shenmue world had 10 times more heart and soul then any GT game will ever have.

Not really, hot cakes is over exaggerating. Yakuza IP sells around 600k per gam, VC did between 250-300k. Yakuza great, VC good, but none of those are "hot cakes".

Far from that! Title is very misleading and incorrect. First SONY as a whole will have profitable quarter, we have no clue if gaming division by itself made any profit. So title "PS3 now profitable" is ridiculous, since Nikkei report no where mentions PS3 being profitable.
Sony is so much more then just gaming division.
I think Sony will focus more on casual games now, with that motion ARC thing. 8 days and getaway got canceled (until proven otherwise, that "on hold" crap you can keep for yourself) in favore of EyePey and Invizimals. Who knows how many hardcore games in fav of casual got canceled and we don't know about them

Actually i had not in mind IGN podcast since i didn't listen to them back then and podcast Beyond is not that old (3 years).
